Read the message before taking action
| Status or stage | What to do next |
|---|---|
| Draft or form preparation | Check completeness and save your work. A saved draft is not submission or approval. |
| Preliminary review | Monitor the account for messages. Do not treat review as permission to hand over your passport. |
| Supplementary Materials to be provided | Read the request and supply the specific missing material. |
| Rejected and to be modified | Read the correction notice and amend the application as instructed. This wording is not by itself a final refusal. |
| Passport to be Submitted | Prepare the passport, barcode page, and any requested originals; confirm handoff arrangements. |
| Passport to be Collected or Review Failed | Follow the collection instructions and use the pickup receipt. The two outcomes are different; read the case message. |
Status wording can change. Follow the current instructions inside your application. A form being complete or reaching a final review screen does not prove it has been submitted.
How to ask us to review an existing application
- Tell us which consulate you selected and the status currently displayed.
- Tell us your travel date and whether the passport has already been submitted.
- Mention any correction message or appointment/handoff already arranged.
- After we confirm a private channel, share the application reference and relevant status screenshot there.
Keep passwords, one-time codes, passport numbers, application IDs, and document images out of the public inquiry form. We do not need an account password to discuss the service scope.
We first establish who is handling the application and what remains to be done. We will not advise you to create a duplicate, cancel an existing application, or replace another person’s work merely to start an assessment.
The passport handoff is a separate stage
Our local workflow starts with digital materials. When the case reaches the passport stage, we confirm the required originals and arrange the agreed handoff. Seattle and Eastside applicants should confirm the time and location with us before setting out.
The San Francisco process allows an applicant or entrusted representative to submit and collect. This does not turn the consulate into a postal service: its instructions say it does not provide mail service. Any private delivery arrangement is a separate part of the agreed service.
After collection, check the name, passport number, entries, validity dates, and duration of each stay on the visa. Raise discrepancies promptly before travel.
If the status seems stuck
Check the full message history and whether the last correction was actually resubmitted. Note the date of the last action and the approaching travel date. We can review the sequence and explain the next available step; we cannot promise to bypass consular review.
If another agency already holds the passport, establish where it is and who is responsible for collection and return before arranging a new service. Avoid conflicting instructions to different representatives.
Getting help does not require an upfront service-fee payment
Our service fee is paid after you receive your passport back with the issued visa. We agree the scope for an existing-application case before starting. Read our payment policy and timeline explanation.
Sources and review date
